Founder & Chief Promoter
Christina Tran
I refuse to watch the places that made a neighborhood a neighborhood quietly disappear because no one spoke up for them."
About Christina
[PARAGRAPH 1 — ORIGIN. The specific experience that made this personal. A scene, not a philosophy.]
[PARAGRAPH 2 — CREDIBILITY. Professional background, roles, years, results. What qualifies her to lead this.]
Christina's work has always come back to the same conviction: that most people and most businesses aren't failing — they're stuck inside a story someone else wrote for them. That the small operator who believes they can't compete has usually been told they can't, by a system that profits from them believing it. She refuses to accept that story. Her role here is to be the person who goes to bat for them — out loud, on the record, and without asking permission.
As Chief Promoter, she does the thing the title says. She finds the businesses nobody's talking about and makes people talk about them — on camera, on stage, in the room, in the feed. She recruits the local voices who champion their own neighborhoods. And she makes sure that when someone lands on this list, they land on a story, not a listing.
In her words
"[PULL QUOTE 1 — on why she took this on.] The odds are steep. We rise anyway — because our families, our teams, and our communities depend on it."
"[PULL QUOTE 2 — on what she wants to be true in five years.]"
Christina speaks about independent business, visibility, and what it costs a community when local disappears.
